Most preschool children can count. But how do you make sure they understand the concept of counting? Montessori uses the pink tower to introduce counting. The smallest block unit (1) and the largest block unit (10) vary greatly in size. Counting units that gradually vary in size help your child understand counting at the conceptual level.
