You can use plates, cups, rulers and lids for your child to trace. Use a pencil or crayon that is easy for your child to hold.
The easiest object to trace is a lid with a handle. Place the lid on a piece of paper, put you hand on the knob and with your pencil slowly trace the object. Let your child have a turn.
Next you can trace feet and hands!
Cut out your traced objects to lace. Use a paper punch to make holes on the outline of the object. Use thick yarn to lace. Make the lacing easier by taping the tip of the yarn so it goes in and out the holes easily. Also, tape the end of the yarn to the underside of the lacing shape. This prevents the yarn from pulling through.
