Montessori Scope and Sequence for Geography/Culture spans the preschool years through high school. Children learn about land forms in preschool. In high school they have the ability to determine the directional flow of a river by reading a map.

Bill's Shakespeare for Kids
I found this book at the local library. It's funny and educational to read. My sister is a drama teacher and much of what she teaches about Shakespeare is in this book. Here is an example, "Macbeth-was not an Elizabethan hamburger--he was a character in a play of the same name." Bill S Shakespeare for Kids" has great vocabualry words that do the word mapping for you!

Shakespeare for Kids
I love reading plays. You can read Shakespeare's plays and other classics even to small babies. Shakespeare uses exciting and descriptive verse since the plays were written for plain stages, the actors told and described everything.
