I have a gingerbread house cookie pan that I make several houses to decorate for the Holiday.
This Gingerbread Party House recipe sounds easy, and it's just flour, shortening, and spices.
Use softly melted white chocolate instead of frosting to glue the house together.

Dairy Free Cookies

Sugar Cutout Cookies are our favorites! You don't even need cookie cutters for this. Try cutting out your own shapes with a knife, pie trimmer  or a small, clean tomato paste can.

Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies are perfect for that leftover Thanksgiving pumpkin. If you have spices already in your canned pumpkin, just reduce or eliminate the spices.

Easy Gingerbread House

I used to make gingerbread houses this way with my young preschool children.

You can use different types of cookies for the roof, windows, and siding. Buy a variety of graham crackers and small cookies at the local market. If you don't have small juice or milk cartons, use a small box (covered with foil)  or even a round margarine tub-(use round cookies for the siding.)

Licorice whips, twists and rectangles cover up the cracks. Also, bulk hard candies, chocolate chips, nuts, gumdrops and lollipops make the house look good enough to eat.
